Stac Pollaidh from Loch Lurgainn. en plein air watercolour 4x6"
This little watercolour was done from the shore of the Loch after we had come down from the top of the hill one February. One of the guys I was climbing with without the rest of us knowing, had packed a small picnic type thing in his rucksack and had actually run down the hill to the Loch and when we got there had spread out a paper tablecloth and set out sandwiches and coffee. How crazy, a freezing cold day and having a picnic on the side of a freezing Scottish Loch, but who said climbers are sane. But the day and views were truly great.
