Field Barn. Acrylic 9x7cm box canvas

I've used these myself Malcolm, in the past. It's quite good fun, tho' they can sometimes take longer than a conventional size. I think the weave of the little canvas is too coarse for the size of the painting but I find that a coat or two of gesso solves this and takes the paint better. Hope you don't mind the suggestion, the little scene itself works well.

That's a great idea for gifts Malcolm. Marjories idea would smooth down the tooth to a much more workable state though. It's a super little piece...again like your limited palette.

Hang on Studio Wall

This little miniture so to speak, was done as a trial, for things like Christmas etc, i normally draw or paint individual cards for friends and family so I thought I may try something different and these little box canvasses you can get with thier own little easels just caught my eye, so this is a project that is still in its undecided stage.
