An interesting collage of images - it is like the sheep is keeping watch over it's habitat! Lovely detail to the mountains - they look suitably rocky and solid.

Thanks Thea, like the idea about the sheep, they are symbolic of the Lakes.

It's beautiful Malcolm, good idea for the rams head, I'm sure she (Gilda) loves it. :)

A unique composition Malcolm, very interesting and well painted.

This painting of the end of Buttermere with Haystacks and Fleetwith Pike on the skylines along with the rams head , was done for an Americal couple as a memento of thier visit over here. I met them when I went out to K2 in the Karacoram mountainss and remained firm friends with them. For the lady Gilda, it was the first time she had seen sheep, she had grown up around Alpacas and Lamas but no sheep hence the inclusion of the rams head.
