You’ve got a nice variety of greens going on that looks like cartridge paper try one on watercolour paper and see the difference

Not sure about adding this one! Quick sketch done at the Pond this week. Watercolour in A6 zeta sketchoad. Wet on wet. Tried (and failed) to capture the gorgeous colours of the trees etc reflected in what water was visible around the algae!
