I like it Margaret, lovely depiction of surf and waves.

It certainly has the look of power and movement in that wave Margaret. The greenish tinge highlights the translucency of the water when the wave is about to roll.

Great energy to this, lovely work.

Thank you Linda, Fiona, David and Russell - your comments are much appreciated.

Oh wow that's fantastic Margaret!

Wow, gorgeous

I really like that greenish tinge, makes the whole painting come to life.

Thank you so much Anjana, Romila and Heather.

Lovely colours, and a lot of movement in the surf.

Love the greens and the marks in the foreground which bring your painting to life. You have wisely avoided using too much white, something I tend to be guilty of. There is a sense of real enjoyment reflected in this painting Margaret.

Lovely movement and colours, Margaret.

Fantastic work Margaret.

Thank you very much Paul, Carole, Ellen, and Caroline. Carole, I certainly enjoyed painting it! It is from one of my own photos of one of my favourite places on the West Coast of Scotland - I love watching the sea!

Wonderful dynamic picture of this sea.

Really a great piece of work, Maggie!

I painted this before Christmas, only now getting round to putting it on the Gallery. My first oil painting for quite a while. Good fun, though I do now have a green fleece that has interesting paint marks all down it - they do take a long while to dry!
