I agree about the blues some love shades, and it’s the perfect backdrop for the tulips. I absolutely love that one flick of mixed colour brush stroke to indicate a fallen petal.....brill!

Think this is finished! Can see things that could be finished off etc but OH says "leave it!" - acrylic on a pre-prepared canvas 24 " by 19.5 " - I started this as a preparatory sketch straight onto canvas from a vase of flowers a couple of years ago, then finished it off (?) this year (partly from a back-up photo but mostly from imagination)
