Day 13 - Red Squirrel

Day 13 - Red Squirrel
Comments

I was just looking for your posting for today Margaret...lol. Lovely pen work, some nice marks.

Thank you Fiona :) Bit late doing the sketch today - and running up and down the stairs to check on the lentil soup! But got it finished ..

That's a cracker , Margaret, love your red squirrel very much . :)

Lovely detail Margaret.

This is very, very nice, Margaret. I admire your courage to make a sketch a day.

Fab sketch, love a red squirrel. I'm not a fan of the grey ones tho since we had to chase them out of the loft last summer (long story) I have just discovered unipin omg they are amazing pens, I was prev using Faber castel and micron but the nibs don't last very long, esp with the paper I like to use, but these are like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the fine pen world. Plus the ink doesn't bleed at all with watercolour, when they say it's waterproof they really mean it, and they are a bit cheaper too bonus!

Like this Margaret, especially his precarious pose. You are doing so well producing daily work.

Lovely drawing Margaret 😀

Thank you Annick and Sandra :) Thank you Mia :) I don't know how long it will last (!) but I do find one sketch/painting a day does kick start me into getting stuff done! Thank you Jennifer :) I agree, the unipin pens are great. I also use the Faber Castel PITT pens - I like them too - but I mostly use cartridge, smooth, and HP papers so not having the same problem as you. I also sometimes use COPIC multiliner pens.

Beautiful drawing Margaret

Great variety and liveliness in the linework that really adds such vitality to the piece. It's really nicely done, Margaret.

Lovely work yet again Margaret, he looks ready to take flight.
