Lovely Margaret! These pesky things grow so profusely, I wonder why weeds always seem to be stronger than the flowers?!!!!!

A lovely composition of this pretty but nuisance flower Margaret:)

Unusual flower to paint Margaret but I like the curves on this.

Thank you Margaret :) I know they can be a bit of a pest in a garden but they have such beautiful flowers and they are great for pollinators - especially early on before much other stuff is out. Thank you Carole :)

Very good Margaret. A nuisance yes but very colourful.

Ahhh! One of my favourite flowers, we don't seem to find proper dandelions on Gozo. This is a lovely loose study! They are absolutely precious because bees need them so very much! Love it, Margaret

Thank you Richard :) Thank you Thalia :) They are such a beautiful bright yellow - and yes, they are so important for pollinators - a hard sell to get people to let them grow in their gardens though! (I've got off with a few this Spring but only just!)

I like them Margaret! As you say, early food, especially for the new emerging queens.

Thanks for commenting Fiona - must admit I like them - a lot around on the pavements near here at the moment - gorgeous and bright.

Love this Margaret, you have captured them beautifully. The buds are so interesting in shape aren't they?

Thank you Anjana :) Yes, they have lovely shapes - keep on meaning to draw one in more detail!
