Love the movement within this Margaret and those lovely spontaneous brush strokes, although I'm sure it was hard work. The blues are gorgeous.

Thank you very much for all your encouraging comments - I hadn't been too sure about this last night. It does look better on the screen though - unfortunately, I used too much indigo and the online version seems to have toned it down. Thank you all - you have made me feel much better about this one! :)

being a bit experimental with swans - not always successfully - my OH doesn't like this one - I can't quite make up my mind! watercolour on NOT paper (the white is watercolour too not gouache) from one of my own photos
