A great sketch - you say it's in progress but I love it as it is.

Looking good and positive at the moment Margaret. Churches can be a complex challenge, but at least they don’t move!

This is a beautiful drawing Margaret well done.

This is shaping up very nicely Margaret. One of the main issues can be how many stones or bricks to draw in. In my experience it's best to not indicate every single one, and indicate some of them with loose lines. I think you've got that balance right, some darker areas also help, you've done that nicely as well.

I like using these pens Margaret, I have them ranging from 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 And 0.8 , this is a lovely sketch and like Alan says, just the right amount of detail in the stonework 😀

It’s looking excellent Margaret, some very nice marks.

Thank you all for your comments - very encouraging. I now need to knuckle down and finish it! Linda, I have quite a selection of pens too - mostly a mix of unipen and Faber-Castell PITT pens - the ones I most often use are the "S" and "F" PITT and the unipin 0.05 for finer work.

I really like this Margaret, great sketch.

Good detailed drawing, Margaret.

From one of my photos - A4 cartridge pad - Unipin fine line pen 0.05 - proving to be a bit of a challenge!
