Thank you all for your lovely comments. Paeonies are so beautiful they are a pleasure to try to paint - I agree with Margaret, they don't last long enough! and Linda, mine came out really late (unfortunately when I was on holiday) as they are in a relatively cold and windy site.

Thought I'd better try to paint the paeonies before they had all gone over! This is my first attempt yesterday - watercolour on NOT paper.
