My sincere thanks for the kind remarks - and also the welcome back. I do tend to stray into culinary arts at this time of year - I make the fruit mince pies for the family and also Melton Mowbray Pork Pies. The latter are not readily available over here so I started making my own some 50 years ago. - our traditional Christmas Breakfast. Then I made 1 , this year , I think it was about 14 - the family has grown and spread and a few expats have also appeared who miss their pork pies. Stay safe over there - we have been so fortunate here in NZ - and canny I guess.

This is a site that I have been seeing at regular intervals now for close to 2 years - and it always has appeal. This from the trip made just before Christmas ( our summer)
