Excellent work Lynne. I use acrylic white quite a lot on watercolours as it's better then standard white. Only fault, it tends to shade a little yellow making me use the paper white at times.. Have you found that?

I like the mixed media here, I have used charcoal and watercolour which fixes it but you loose some of the soft charcoal texture, l will post a example if your interested?

Thank you every one for your comments. Jim I don't usually add acrylic for whites in water colours as it is not opaque enough & will take on some of the underlying colour - but many artists use white gouache on W/C as is is more opaque (- I usually leave the white of the paper for W/Cs ) Jeff I would love to see an example of your W/C & charcoal painting
