I like this very much, a beautiful palette - those flowers are gorgeous! I keep looking at the marks and textures, quite inspiring Lynne, I want to get the paints out at this late hour!

Delightful, Lynne with the light falling on the flowers and such a cute jug too!

Oh my, Marjorie and Anne, I am delighted to read your late-night, uplifting comments (it is 7:12pm in Charlottesville). Thank you. The scratch marks arrive when I scratch out with a palette knife what I don't like. I leave the marks so my values aren't monotonous. That's my favorite pitcher, Anne. The bunny wins hands down.

This is wonderful (and I like rabbits too). Great bit of scratchwork too and a wonderful colour palette

This is so beautiful !

Beautiful palette and brushwork. Love the touches of light creeping round the jug and coming through the pink petals

I appreciate your encouraging comments on this painting, Sarah, Heather, Valerie, and Martin. They lead me on to paint more. Thanks for the palette comments, too.

I admire your bold but soft brush strokes, Lynne. I must try some scrapping too, the texture is magnific. It must have been great to get acquainted with that rabbit, what a treat :-)

I appreciate your comments, Sarah, Heather, Valerie and Martin. There's a flower farm near me. When their first blooms of spring arrive at the farmers' market, I hold my breath, try to be gutsy with strokes, so thanks for that and your wonderful, upbeat comments. It's a joy to bring my paintings to this forum.

Beautifully painted.Love the subject matter

Beautiful Lynne, love your energetic brush strokes.

I appreciate your thoughtful comments, Cecilia and Romila.

I'm wild about wild rabbits. Fed one during winter's ice and snow. This painted with water-soluble oils on a 10" x 10" canvas.
