This is lovely, Lynne. The lighter tones in the foreground balance well against the dark mountains. The overall painting has an evening look to it, for me, could be those lovely white high - lights in the sky.

It's very good, great use of colour

A lovely painting Lynne. Love the colour, contrast and composition.

I admire how the water flows and how you have captured its movement Lynne.

Thanks so much for all your comments. I feel like an outlier here in the States, but know that art has no boundaries. It's a God-send being in this newly discovered art world, having recently bought the August THE ARTIST at Barnes and Noble. I love looking at the Gallery and reading comments, getting inspired by it all. I am appreciative and grateful to you.

This is a water-based oil from a sketch I did of a small waterfall tumbling over rocks at The Homestead in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The piece became somewhat abstract.
