"Tranquil"? No. There's something a little unsettling about this one, and I like it. Something foreboding about the dark silhouettes against that sunset, behind the "silver bars", and that deep water.... Something rather ominous. Rather refreshing to have this here amongst the copied tigers and pets.

Tend to agree with that (not the bit about the pets so much; I am sentimental). It has an aura of stillness, but there does seem to be something somewhat sinister underlying it. Maybe you say more than you know!

The pink sky, subded greens and the stark lines of birch trees all work very well together. It's super!

This is an eye catcher - quite beautiful. Could the pink sky not be a forest fire! yet to consume this lovely spot?!!

this is lovely, very tranquil, and so well done.

This is a group of birch trees growing by water. It was sunset and I loved the beautiful pink light in contrast to the silver of the trees. The sky seems to glow behind the silhouette of the background trees. A tranquil painting I think?
