Thanks to you all and yes, Jenny, I do find this style quite funky and seems to work well with landscapes. I don't do many portraits so the jury is out there but I am dabbling with one of me and mine - Mmmm that may be interesting!

I was given the opportunity to paint this landscape so I did it in more of a modern way in contrast of William Wallace's late 13th Century period. It was fun to add a bit of 3D to it and play with some crackling and modeling pastes to create a little touchy-feely here and there.
