Thanks for your positive feedback. This was a mix of experimenting with the looseness with the landscape and exactness for the cyclist, which is where I always go back to, being my comfort zone.

I painted this for a friend for her special birthday and who loves cycling. I liked the contrast of the detail of the cyclist and the freeness of the sun shining on the wet roadside ditch.
