Basket

Wow, Louise. I am not looking every day for the moment, but this is a very lovely change of subjects. Love it (I do like all your paintings, by the way!).

Lopsided or not, this looks good to me Louise!

Thanks Mia and Debs. This is an older painting and Debs, the basket was actually lopsided ! I didn't do any preliminary drawing here, just went straight in with the brush which probably made the basket look even worse than it already was :)

Well Louise, you can even make a lop-sided basket look good with your lovely colours. Even better that you did no drawing - that's an achievement in itself. Makes a great still life with quirky impact. I've missed your paintings while you have been away, so it is lovely to see an LN on the gallery again.

It's a lovely basket and so beautifully painted and without drawing it first! What has happened to the rest of your gallery?? Have you deleted them all?? I'm going to miss them if you have.

Thanks Carole, Avril and Satu. Satu, for a minute then I was worried that I'd been mysteriously deleted! I open a new portfolio at the beginning of every month. There's only one so far in October! They're all there in my gallery!
