Thanks Lesley. To be honest, when I started it I didn't know how it would end up. I went 'with the flow' as they say and am rather pleased with the result.

Thank you Helen, Carole, and Helen. Helen, I used large quantities of cling film and some masking fluid, painted a few washes of colour and watched the painting develop! Carol, I always seem to enjoy a challenge. I was confronted with a piece of wallpaper and asked to produce something that would compliment it, just so long as it wasn't a landscape. I plan to do another similar one now. That's what I enjoy so much about painting. I'm never really sure just what I'll try next. Quite exciting really. Well, that's how I find it anyway. lol
