Your accidental discovery that your pen wasn't waterproof has produced a very attractive result - and your design skills stand you, as they usually do, in good stead. I like those cool blues and greens.

I too like the addition of the pen and the effect it has on the painting by not being waterproof!

Actually the other one was No 3, sorry - got muddled. Anyway, back to No 2 - this is my favourite, probably as I am so taken with pen and wash at the moment. I like the introduction of the black lines into the light washes - it really works and makes a superb painting.

Rather worryingly, this took all of ten minutes and I too prefer it to the others which took considerably longer. lol. Thank you all for your kind words.

This sketch has so much life in it and the restricted colour scheme is very effective and striking. A lovely image Louise.

My favourite too! It's probably done on sketching paper too...... just shows that when not "stressed" things turn out so much more spontaneous ! Lovely.
