Your neighbours must be very pleased with that beauty, Louise. What a rich scheme of colours! Stunning!

Well it all works very well. You have such a creative, imaginative mind, wish I could come up with ideas as often as you do!

Thanks Mia and Carole. Infact it's the same neighbour that jokes about my moon stamp! They have a few of my paintings and we're actually still good friends! I also painted a portrait of a friends grandchild recently. It was a christening gift. They said they liked it but never mentioned it again so I'm not sure if they were just being polite! :} As to my ideas, I feel that some of these landscapes are very similar, I just seem to re-arrange the houses. Your comments are very much appreciated.

I really, really like this one Louise......lucky neighbour!!

Thanks Fiona and Kirstie. Kirstie, I didn't actually choose the colours. The neighbours came round with bits of fabric and paint samples for me to match! It had to go with their decor!

I absolutely love this, Louise. The colours are some of my favourites and the pale sky and white houses makes it look wintery and crystal like. As someone above said - lucky neighbours! P.S. Although I think your houses are just fine, if you want a different note, how about a small windmill? Probably think I am daft, but I always think they are such a satisfying shape.

Louise, you're in a class of your own (and I mean that respectfully). I just don't know where the imagination comes from.To be confronted with a blank piece of paper and produce something like that and to your neighbours' order is some achievement. Another "well done" from me too.

I wonder how I'd respond to your neighbours if they ever sought me out..... with a sinister smile, I should imagine, immediately banished by the size of the cheque I hope... It isn't actually TOO unreasonable to look for a painting that will fit in with your decor (I suppose...): but I think I'd be looking for quite a lot of money; QUITE a lot of money.... I wonder if anyone asked Picasso to paint something that matched the curtains and scatter-cushions ... I do hope you mulcted them in extraordinarily punitive fees......

Many thanks Bill, now I'm feeling quite pleased with myself !

Oh Robert, you always manage to make me laugh !

Really wonderful. Maybe my new favourite Naimian

What can I say more....Your distinctive style, your wonderful imagination and the fact is you are getting better and better.. I am truly astonished.

Lovely crisp atmosphere and gorgeous colors. It's beautiful, Louise.

watercolour 45 cm x 20 cm A familiar scene but different colour scheme for me. I used paler colours as the painting hangs on my neighbours wall and these were the colours that they wanted! I was tempted to darken the sky but was instructed to keep it pale!
