Love all your Manchester pictures, Louise. Instantly recognise where they are.

Lovely work Louise, love how you draw the stone flags with your lovely loose style and always the lovely bright colours

Your paintings are easy on the eye and have movement, Louise and, an inspiration for myself to get out and use the pen and wash method to produce a few paintings of my local area. Using the pen and wash method (hopefully) will produce quick and lively images.

Many thanks Sue, Ros and CA Jones. I don't paint outdoors CA Jones. Just as well really as someone has just asked me to paint outside the Manchester United ground on match day. Imagine me sitting there with my easel in my blue and white top wielding my paint brushes..lol. Good luck with your local scenes, you'll never run out of scenes to paint and it'll open your eyes to exactly what's right there on your doorstep.

fabulous. I do like this one but then i do like pictures with bikes in them. Never painted one but always seem to photograph them.

Congrats on painting a bike! I did one of a pram once, that's the only thing with a wheel I've ever painted!

Same scene looking entirely different! These are getting seriously wonderful Louise!

Love the colours and the bike. So very nice Louise !

This is truly wonderful, Louise!! The addition of the bike is great - a marvellous scene - and I love your colours as well.

Yet another great addition and probably one of the best yet.

Well, I never expected such positive comments about this particular painting! Thank you. Perhaps I should include more bicycles in future paintings..Do many people got to football matches on bikes these days?.. LOL..! I could pop a few red and white ones on to my football painting when I get round to doing it, umm, perhaps not..

This is a stunning piece, Louise! I really like it, and I thought the bike was superbly done - it was the first thing I spotted! I agree with Michael, this is one of your best.

Thank you Seok. I think that the bike is a permanent fixture there advertising a cafe. This is why I included it really, otherwise people who know the scene well would ask, 'where's the blue bike?'..lol

Really like this scene Louise, love the bike!

Love the blue in this Louise, ties the scene up beautifully.

Many thanks Lesley and Carole!

Totally agree with Michael Edwards like it alot

Missed this one till I saw today's postings ( prefer the one with more of an angle) but wanted to say how much I enjoy your m/c series. I love this one and think it is my favourite. I guess you know drawing a bike from memory is often set as an intelligence test. :)

This is another version of a scene I posted earlier. I managed to include the bike in this one. A first for me, never painted a bike before and don't suppose that I will again..lol
