Another smasher Louise. Love the deep colours in this one.

Thanks Carole! I'm actually pleased that I've produced a new painting! I haven't painted anything for weeks now apart from those puppies :)

Super strong and powerful painting. There is something about the combination of purple and orange tones that contrast so well. I also like the purple vertical band in the centre of the painting - with some paintings that would cut it in half, but you have mastered the technique of using the right colour and tone for that not to happen - a real skill. This painting also has a very autumnal feel to it - dark juicy colours, the orange and rust tones and the sunset sky - really lovely work, Louise.

This is amazing Louise.....your use of colour is exceptional as usual. That touch of blue (the lighter blue) off centre and top left...ever so slightly, is fabulous. The black verticals are also a great element. Love it!!

Superb use of colour, and lovely texture in the foreground.

A real smasher Louise, and I like the cling film effect :)

Help - everyone has said everything - and I agree with it all!!

Like it, Louise....not sure why, but it strikes my senses...which is good enough for me....!

Thanks Thea, Fiona, Lesley, Sarah, Debs and Ruth!

I agree with them all, fabulous colours, another great painting.

Many thanks Val. The cling film was a bit hit and miss and I had to paint into the effect it gave me! Worth a try though.

Nothing ventured........ it has really worked well. Got here a bit late so I'll agree with all that's been said and mean it. Wonderful colours. How about "La lune rousse" for a title ? Not sure if it's the sun or the moon...

Oh Avril, thanks so much for that, I'd been racking my brains for a name! Sun? Moon? mine all look the same, round and usually red! "La lune Rousse" it now is! Sounds so romantic, thanks again!! You do realise though that I might be relying on you in the future to come up with names :)

Superb shapes here, Louise, and lovely, warm colors. And that ubiquitous moon! It's really lovely.

Extremely powerful painting --Very stong - Its got the sky {Beautiful with its moon } next you get the middle ground with its charming village--And then the forground not over done so as to take you away the village. -and no way is that blue vertigal going to split this painting in half, It was not put there for that purpose

Oh by the way thanks for thinking about my paintings when you went to Chatsworth Park----- Do you live in Derbyshire

Many thanks Seok and Charles. Charles, I'm a Mancunian!

Some of your paintings should have told me that

I agree with everyone. A fabulous painting which really captured my senses.
