Village in pink by Louise Naimian

The pinks and purples (and orange?) in this really set each other off and it's zingy and warm. A real eye catcher, Louise.

Tabitha would be enchanted with this one, Louise - she is the 'pink' girl par excellence! Lovely colours and I see the houses are moving towards the foreground, so your style is evolving. You must have so much fun painting this one. I wonder, are we to see people arriving next??? They would be an interesting addition don't you think? Super addition to your gallery and I bet someone snaps this one up straight away (if you don't save it for Annabel's room).

Lucky today - we've had Rupert, Sylvia, and this - adding colour and excitement to one of the foullest days on the weather front that we've had for some weeks.

This is so typical a 'Louise'-painting, I love it! Well done!

Great combination of colours Louise, love your tree's.

Agree with Jane - this has lots of zing! The combination of colors is so cheerful and uplifting. And the pink moon against the dark sky - absolutely super!

Thank you all, very much! Robert, that's a lovely compliment. Seok, the sky was originally a pale pinky striped effect, but after posting it here yesterday in it's paler colours, I realized that it wasn't working and whipped it off, hopefully before anyone noticed.( Robert might have thought that it was another phantom poster!) Out came the masking fluid and I painted over the sky in a mix of alizarin and phthalo blue. Risky but 'a result' :)

This painting, like your earlier one, are really effective Louise. The colours are great and I really like the 'fern' effect in the foreground which serves as a good foil to the block like structures of the buildings. More please!

Some of my favourite colours here Louise and used to great effect !

Yes mine too, beautiful.

A striking addition to your gallery Louise.

What a superb palette and so well drafted

Love that pink moon, super use of colour as always and lovely perspective in all those houses.

Thank you all very much!

Lovely colours . I wouldn't mind living in one of your landscapes! It would be an experience to say the least :)
