Well, thanks Satu and Carole. Today's isn't going well. Painting, especially watercolour, can be most difficult, frustrating thing sometimes. You understand that feeling I know ...LOL (I'm not this morning!)

Beautifully composed and executed, Louise. I love the sense of movement and energy throughout the painting.

The colours are what makes this as much as the design, it's great.

P.S. Have you used gouache for the whites?

Very kind of you Mia and Caroline! Masking fluid Caroline applied with the end of a very thick old darning needle. I find the stuff absolutely ruins brushes so anything sharp and pointy for fine lines. Also a touch of white gouache. 'Up my street' could be a good title for a painting not this one though as it isn't..LOL
