Thanks Debs, Christine and Seok. Funny really, but I'm not keen on looking at some of my older paintings here, this one included. It seems to have lost that spark which I must have felt when first painting it. Not sure why that is and of course, it doesn't apply to other people's paintings, just my own!

I can't keep up with all these challenges and don't know yet about Christine's one but this is a smasher Louise! You are always able to stretch yourself to tackle new challenges with style and determination.

I do like the feeling of intense heat and the strong sunlight hitting the people's faces. A great 'red' and 'seaside' challenge.

This is in response to Christine's on line collaboration July challenge. It was painted for a 'hot reds' competition some time ago. No prizes won then but rather cunningly, it combines Christine's July criteria and the red challenge all in one!
