Wonderfully tasteful and the sort of nude painting I like. I really like the subtle skin tones and the loosely drawn outline. A great sketch!

Thanks Thea, Alan and Dennis. This sketch came about after reading the interesting comments left under Tony's 'red jumper' painting. I haven't done any proper life drawing for years but do feel that it's a very good discipline when done properly. This is just a very quick sketch done this morning as much for Tony's challenge as for myself to see if I could! Reds next on the list. I do like the site for suggesting these ideas which I can't resist trying.

Oh no, we&#39;re not being challenged to produce figures now are we? Completely out of my comfort zone but I know I won&#39;t be able to resist! This is very good Louise, you are very clever at getting a realistic pose with very few lines. Looking forward to seeing your ladies in red!
