Towards Oxford Road Manchester

I have been staring at this fantastic creation for at least five minutes now and thinking why do I like it so much. Finally I got the answer, it has got a soul! Your town Louise is alive!

that's very kind of you Satu and Alan. In case you're wondering what the square shape top left corner is, it's from the top of my other roof top sketch. I used the bottom half of the paper. Two in one!! I shall probably paint this view next all being well.

I have no idea how you get these buildings to look so authentic within a quick sketch?? I love the little car bottom left - it has such character yet drawn with the minimum of lines. You really are one talented lady!

I love your urban landscapes. The touches of colour here and there , but otherwise very pale buildings work so well. Fascinating !

I'm in Croatia at the moment and Internet access is a bit hit and miss but managed to catch this super painting. I love how you make sense of the jumble of buildings and portray these busy cityscapes.

Thank you Thea, Gudrun, Dennis, David, Dympna, Avril and Christine. Possibly this looks lively because it was drawn very quickly, no restrictive pencil lines. I just dashed in using the pen at speed! The red thing at the bottom is actually a train going in to Oxford Road station which perhaps isn't quite as clear! Christine, have a good time.
