Another really lively piece.

Busy, busy,busy! Love the livelyness of this Louise! I've been away a while and have a lot to catch up on.

Thanks Christine, Glennis, Michael and Sarah. It was done so quickly which could only result in it being lively! Possibly I need to slow down. The thing is, the weather's so good at the moment I want to be outside but feel a certain guilt if I'm not painting, so rush a sketch off. I think some of you will know that feeling!

Very loose and lively ink and wash sketch Louise. Glad you kept the paint quite light - just did a lovely little loose drawing - then decided to completely cover it with thickly painted water colour (doh) and lost the drawing. I hope you do some more of these as this one is great.

Sorry for being so tardy in commenting, but life gets so hectic at times! This has such a different feel to your other Manchester sketches - much more muted and gentle, but I love it. The casual addition of the figures and notices add to the atmosphere and the wonderful use of expressive washes set the tone of the painting. A nice and surprising addition to your Manchester series.

Brilliant work, Louise! Love the figures in the foreground, they add such life and movement to the piece.
