Re worked sketch!

Great fresh wet in wet watercolour

Another very lively piece, Louise, full of energy and movement!

I quite liked the lady footballers Louise, but agree that this is better!

Perish those MP's - you've been caught it seems. When are they going to learn to read!! I find footballers quite feminine in all their hugging and whooping when they score a goal, so I wouldn't worry about whether they look masculine or not. However, your three definitely do now - very hunky but I sense the two outer ones are going to give the one in the middle a right good smacker! Perhaps he's just scored a goal. As always, I am a great admirer of your technique and your bold work.

This works just as well as the type of sketch you wanted Louise, but a good reworking. Ladies football is as entertaining as mens' these days and I enjoy watching on TV, in fact some on tonight I think.

The problem with yesterday's posting which hopefully not many people saw, wasn't so much that they looked like ladies in short white shorts but that the ladies looked as though they were dancing. I thought of adding long hair or a pony tail but decided to just paint over them and make them more masculine..lol. Thea, I just wish that postings could be limited to just one per day. As it is, it hardly seems worth posting sometimes when we're swept away so quickly.

I only glimpsed the one yesterday as it flew off again! Great, full of movement.

The previous one that I deleted was in fact this one Michael which I re worked. Their shorts were originally white, too short and they looked ladies. I deleted the image quickly, painted over them and this is the result, re posted. I shall have to research football shirts, teams colours etc and get my facts right. I just painted red and blue as I imagine them to be, wrongly I expect. Now I see that their socks are all different in real life..So much to learn about the beautiful game..LOL
