Lovely fresh sketch Louise, great colours

I have no idea how you do this! We only talked about doing a limited palette painting about half an hour ago and and you have just gone and done it! Amazing and something I just couldn't do. The car is wicked - love it - especially as you did it with a big brush and no drawing. The colours work and it is indeed another lovely fresh sketch, as Petra says.

Thanks Petra and LOL Thea! It was painted so quickly I suppose because I gave it no thought, just got stuck in. The car is a classic model and is usually parked here.

Lovely fresh work Louise, as others have commented! the cars especially work really well, almost a sense of again with the blue one chasing the black one!

The car on the right is superb Louise. I love these paintings without drawings - there is a sort of freshness that I can't quite put my finger on.

I also like the car on the right. Overall there is a juicy jumble of marks which all come together so well

The beauty of painting quickly like this and not worrying about the outcome is that it can sometimes spark something off in my mind as to what to paint next. Also, the result can be surprising as this one was. That's what I like about watercolour, it never fails to work it's magic for me!
