Thanks Tessa and Fiona. I've been participating in the 30x30 Direct Watercolor 2018 Challenge to produce 30 direct watercolours during the month of June, and not using pencil sketches has had the beneficial effect of helping me loosen up a bit.

That sounds like a tough challenge David, wish you lots of success with it.

Good watercolour sketch! That town clock looks a bit like ours here. Stick with the learning! The more you do, the more you want to do and it is good that you are in among other artists too. It encourages and inspires.

Thanks Fiona. Well, actually, this has come in the middle of a longer challenge. Towards the end of March I set myself the challenge of making at least one sketch every day for a whole year. The 30x30 challenge dovetailed quite nicely, as I've used a lot of watercolour sketches for daily sketches this month.
