Class 52 "Western" in Paddington
I grew up watching these on their way in and out of Paddington from Jacob's Ladder in Ealing. They were in the more familiar blue and yellow intercity livery by then. Phased out towards the end of the 1970s, the Westerns are still probably one of the most beloved class of diesel locomotives ever to be used on British Railways. This is a small canvas board, c. 5x7 inch
