Pencil/graphite on Paper, 18 x 24". This drawing was done for my Drawing 1 class at Florida Atlantic University this summer. The assignment was to put together a still-life that applied Gestalt principles to a narrative. In this still-life, books represent knowledge, and the power cord implies that the light bulb is plugging into the books for power.
