A card I made for my husbands birthday. His hobby is Astro photography and I wanted to give him a card that reflected him. I used A dip pen and Indian ink for the outline which I prefer to pens. I used wet on wet for the sky. The layout of the sky has the Milky Way, Orion, sissy’s, Mars and Pleiades in roughly the right spots. I don’t normally use metallic pens in my paintings but I wanted some of the stars to pop.I did a glaze of silver paint over the seven sisters to show the Pleiades.
