So lovely, quite envious of water colourists, especially when the work is this good! oils can be so forgiving as opposed to water colour, when, I guess you have to be right first time

Thank you all for your generous comments. That's one of the things I like about Painters Online - everyone is so kind and supportive! Can't agree with you though David - I'm trying to get to grips with oils and failing dismally. I've bought the right brushes, the best paints and all the mediums to no avail. Got the gear but no idea!

The garden doesn't know if it's coming or going this year. What with warm spring sunshine one day and wintry wet days that follow. Our magnolias are showing promise but still only in bud.
