Thanks for your lovely comments Nora. This is my first palette knife painting! I had a lot of fun. I think that I got carried away one day, and decided to experiment after seeing a painting by a chap in the magazine.

LOVE THE COLOURS AND TONES. WHAT RED DO YOU USE,?

Hi Bernie For this painting I used Daler Rowney Artists heavy body colour, Cadmium Red, Cad Yellow, ultramarine, white and burnt umber. I try to limit my palette most of the time, but sometimes that does not work and I end up with half a box full of colours for one dab of this or that.
