I was drawn to the lovely sunshine, lines and shadows in this image. The evidence of a light breeze in the somewhat tangled clothes on the line was a delight to paint. I think DS Van Dyck Brown is one of my new favourites. I used it throughout the painting to help with a cohesive palette in the shading.
