You show amazing imagination with your characters.

We have just celebrated the "Fallas" in Spain. You would be excellent at designing them. If you do not know about them please Google and you will see why this drawing of yours has reminded me of this fact. (Especially the woman at the rear of your sketch Have a good day.

Thank you Stephen and Tony. Tony, I've never heard of the 'Fallas'. I've had a quick look and it seems like a cartoon character fest...I'll look into it more later.

You can be quite scary on occasion Lew .

Beam me up, Scotty! I've had one dram too many. Utterly brilliant! Bri

Dread to think what you’ll produce if you took LSD. Where do all these fabulously eccentric characters come from Lewis.? am awe of your imaginative capabilities.

Title - Aliens passing through customs after Brexit

Thanks again for the great feedback. I don't know where the come from, Carole...that's not something I want to delve into too much. One odd thing...at the art group...nobody 'saw' the fella in the middle...the one with the tiny head. My idea was give him a little head, and a big muscular body. I seem to have hidden a character in plain sight again. I had to point him out to them.

You need to publish all your characters in a book Lewis they are utterly brilliant. The guy with the little head made me think of Popeye (showing my age now :) )

Brilliant! What a funny group of characters, I don't know how you think of them. The one in the middle with the small head reminds me of Popeye with his muscles.

Amusing as ever, Lewis, please don't 'delve'...just let them arrive! We all love 'em!

Brilliant characters Lewis.....all so different. The moe you look into the painting the more you see.

Crikey, what a crowd. I think a lot feel like this when queuing at the airport and by the year 3000 will possibly look the same. If we don't all have driverless air travel that is.. :) Brilliant faces. All so different, such weird expressions yet all having character!

I did this last week at my art group. It was a 'do what you want' day. I decided to take a break from my ongoing 'growing up' project. It's fun to think up odd characters. I was intending to add more stuff at home...a background, more characters. But decided to leave it as it is...it's sketchbook stuff. Pen and water soluble graphite pencils.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
