Great detail as ever Lew, and your queen looks pretty scary!

All so good and the Queen even better than your first version

Wow, love your queen Lewis!

So good and so fast. Fantastic work as usual

I recoil a bit at that Red Queen…..Tweedle- dum makes me smile. All brilliant Lewis.

Four excellent pieces Lew , the Cheshire Cat is a bit scary but it adds a different dimension.

Brilliant work Lewis, looking forward to the final picture.

Always excellent Lewis. It's going to be really something special, your big picture.

The final picture will be brilliant, include the Cheshire cat from where I live.

Brilliant Lewis, the final piece should be pretty spectacular!

Super illustrations Lewis. Would be great for the book.

Thanks for having look and your encouraging comments. Always valued. I’ve started the actual painting, it’s 60 x 50 cm. Already I’ve had to change things a little, I can’t get as many characters in as I’d imagined, despite roughing out several layouts before I started. At the moment it’s at that awful ‘it’s never going to work’ stage, but that’s normal for me (and most of us I expect). Pressing on.

Love the Red Queen.

Super illustrations Lewis.

A brilliant Quartet Lewis.

A very haughty looking queen! All wonderful.

Yes that queen to draw Lewis. Not sure about the cat being aggressive though.

Excellent Queen Lewis. The cat gives me the creeps! 😂

Can’t wait to see them all. I rather like Tweedle Dum.

All great to me. 👏👏👏👏

Excellent detail. I loved the final version.

A few more for a large pic. They may change a little in final pic. Had another attempt at the Queen. Watercolour pencils.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
