Been there, done that. Even with hearing aids, my wife and I still have conversations like this. Great drawing.

Ain't that the truth Andrew. Same here.

Haha, rings a bell! Thanks for morning smile Lew.

Early mornings are so much brighter with your art work Lew. Thank you.

A “me too” moment! Another good one Lew. Thanks for the morning smile. 🤣

This is really well observed Lew, I think most people will relate to this . Your artwork is always exceptional , in another time and age you would have been a great cartoonist as your observation skills are excellent. You have a talent for spotting things and putting them into a sketch and your hours of practice have paid off.

Great bit of humour Lewis.

Great characters again raise a smile. They remind me of adults from when I was a child in the 60s

Pardon? I heard that! ~enjoyed the cartoon too.

Thanks for looking and your comments. Always appreciated.

Another morning coffee brightened by your drawing and humour Lewis.

This is so familiar. You’ve really captured a true moment of humanity Lewis.

No truer word Lewis! I end up in fits of laughter when my husband answers a question which has nothing to do with what I actually said…lol. I ought to write them down because it’s surreal.

Great cartoon again. I 've called my wife to have a look.....still waiting!

Haha, i really like this Lewis, as a hearing aid user i can relate to mishearing things or not hearing them at all. Brilliant as always.

Love it and know the feeling!

How true Lewis. My mother in-law has us in fits sometimes. Keep them coming😂

Not much time for drawing at the moment. This will be familiar to those, like me, who have hearing aids, and to all who know people with them...or need them. Not a lot of fun having poor hearing. Mostly frustrating, but sometimes amusing. Pen and coloured pencils.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
