I know how you feel Lewis am a very early bird too. Two more wonderful images

Love the Bert one but your poor hot chap is a delight. Know the feeling.

Both are excellent and beautifully done. Far to hot for us oldies Lew , the watercolour paint is drying in the pallet before you can use it .

Love the ‘farmers tan’ on the chap on the right. Stay cool Lewis.

These are both great Lewis! Particularly like the second picture - very apt- just how I feel too!

Great stuff Lewis, that duck has got the right idea with a parasol!

Love the duck with the sunshade. A great touch.

Thanks for your comments. Always appreciated.

Lovely detail Lewis.

I was on the beach at Borth y Gest yesterday, substitute the bread for the usual beach paraphernalia and that poor man could be me! Brilliant Lewis

It is hot - t'is indeed. Saps your energy... of which some of us have all too little to start with. I tried a watercolour yesterday evening - water dried the moment it hit the paper, or seemed to. Didn't really work, either! Trying to paint a face from memory is something only a clot like me would do - I envy your ability to put a simple idea into amusing form by capturing your universal characters: ie, we've all seen these people in the flesh, but they're more entertaining the way you represent them.

Great ideas and drawings Lew, as ever! I know someone I could use the get well card for, no names mentioned! 🤣

Great, topical humour as always Lewis. I’m lucky (sometimes) to live in the north, almost in the North Sea so it’s never very hot here and when it is, very often the sea fret negates the heat.

How very topical Lewis. The poor chap on the right just sums up the weather and how we’re all feeling!

Love them both. Too hot to explain why. Keep it up Lewis.

Topical and tops. Love the pigeon sunshade.Good stuff Lew.

Brilliant Lewis! Yeah crazy heat. We got snowy a cooling cat mat. I think us humans need one! Great pics 📸

It's the little details that amuse me: the nonchalantly thrown crumbs; the swollen feet in flip-flops; the tan/sunburn lines. Thanks again Lew.

Not getting much done in this heat, can't get beyond really simple drawings like these and the watercolour is drying too quickly. I like to draw something each day, mostly these are done in the wee small hours of the morning. I'm an early riser. Hot, ennit?

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
