Nice one Lew, and the reminder of bus conductors made me smile! How things have changed in the last fifty years or so.

Superb artwork Lew, bus conductors I have fond memories of seeing them and always wanted to step of the tail step as the bus was moving so many conductors did as the bus came to a bus stop .

What a wonderful character, Lewis - and I remember those conductors with their ticket machines !

Don’t get me started on buses. There seems to be a conspiracy round our way to reduce the frequency and range of bus services so nobody can use them and then the powers that be decide to axe them because nobody is using them. Is that grumpy enough ? Brilliant drawing Lewis.

Brilliantly drawn and observed as always Lewis. I love the conductor standing to attention, ticket machine at the ready. Ah nostalgia, I remember one bus conductor's face so very clearly from sixty years ago, and him gripping the seat rails with one hand, white knuckles and cradling his ticket machine with the other as we went round corners.

Marvelous drawing of Gus, and in those days when there were conductors with their ticket machines! Brings back memories from York and the red double decker buses, a classic yes! Made me smile!
