Here's the limerick... 'There was a young fella from Leeds, who swallowed a packet of seeds. In less than an hour, his chest was a-flower, and he couldn't sit down for the weeds.'

Haha. I know a limerick about Ealing, but also very crude. You should publish your sketchbook and comments. I’m sure it would be a best seller.

Brilliant stuff Lewis. Cheered me up no end as I've just had yet another traumatic picture sent me of animal abuse...can't cope with that, your picture magically changed my mood, Thanks!!!

Oh Lewis you are so funny, this has brightened my morning!

Great. Keep em rolling Lew; always a pleasure to see.

Great sketch and great Limerick 😀

Thanks to all for your comments, glad you liked 'em. I have to confess I don't feel very lively in this hot weather...it's not British.

And Mrs C thinks I have an overactive imagination. Very good.

Thank you for the laugh! I’m too hot to offer anything more...

look forward to the latest edition - or should that be addition ? and limericks as well now - politest one I've seen , I think. Sorry about the weather everyone is complaining about - but take heart - the days are getting shorter now!!!!

O'dear Lewis I knew the other version when I was about twelve, a distant memory. Yes it is TOO HOT so my next watercolor will be in sweat, I wonder if it will improve it lol.

A limerick popped into my head. Not mine...it's by that famous author 'ANON'. This is the respectable version (and best), others are very crude.
