Meandering Conversation (Less a joke, more of an observation).

Superb artwork Lew, yes been there and went home wondering how, probably forgot or didn’t get what I went for either.

Spot on, we do diversify and forget the original request 🤔. Love your characters Lew.

Yep - been there, done that. Excellent work.

I agree and another great drawing

Greta characters and I am enjoying the philosophical side of your artwork.

Wonderful Lewis.

Yes have to hold my hands up to doing that on occasions and not always accidentally!🤔Your a genius Lewis.

Great drawing Lewis. So much character in those faces.

Two lovely fellas

I seem to be doing it more often these days! Beautifully drawn and observed as always Lewis, love that hand.

Such a wonderful insight to human nature Lewis and such beautiful art work.

Very familiar with this Lewis! We can have two separate conversations going at the same time!

Thanks for looking and your comments. Something familiar to us all. Fiona, I agree about two conversations going on at once...another variation on the theme of meandering conversation.

Just love the animation on their faces, and Ernie's bulbous nose! You really bring your characters to life, Lewis!

That rings a bell Lewis. There are some people that talk so much, you can't get a word in, and you never do get to say what you originally approached them about! Great characters.

I have this trouble all the time - it is to do with being married to an ex-engineer, who later did a history degree!

We all do this. Sometimes someone just changes the subject, but often there's no such obvious reason and I find myself trying to remember how it happened.

I so know that feeling!!! Brilliant again, Lewis!

Superb drawing Lewis, this can happen at home let alone out somewhere!

We've all been here, wondering how we got from one subject to another. One of the joys of conversation. Coloured pencils.
