Impeccable as ever Lewis, as you say the colours are bright and eye catching., but they all work ( in my option ) harmoniously together.

I think this has real stand out; great colours and really interesting to look at

Lovely patterns and colours, striking Lew.

Great drawing skills as ever.

Love this eye-catching painting, Lewis, with its interesting patterns and vibrant colours!

I love this Lewis, the colours are gorgeous. It's bizarre and beautiful.

Thanks very much for your great feedback. This didn't work out quite as I'd hoped (do they ever?), mainly because it was done too quickly. But I like the concept and will definitely have another go.

I think you're being too hard on yourself Lew. This is class work,

The colours work brilliantly together. Superb piece of work. Love the emerging snake.

I like the design and colours in this one Lewis- A painting well done,

Great colours and vey 1930's !

I am glad you enjoyed doing it as I enjoyed viewing it too.

I think it's great Lewis

Great work Lewis, love the colours you have used, 😀

Love your work, fantastic colours and so much to see.

I could see this gracing the walls of a chic bistro, Lewis, somewhere in Paris. LOL Truly excellent work! Bri

Thanks again for all your generous comments. I'm reasonably happy with it, but know there are things I could have done better with a little more care. But it has made me want to have another go in this style. So it's OK just for that.

Powerful - great image

Love it, Lewis - feast for the eyes.

You are not alone, Lewis, i love the colours too. Bright, Brashy, Bold, a Belting painting!

Fabulous and rather surreal!

Fabulous Lewis, it sings!

Experiment succeeded. Brilliant.!!

Really like this Lewis the attraction for me is one can have fun with really intense colour and it gives the work the look of a piece of stained glass which I’ve always had a love for . Excellent

I've seen this kind of art on the net, made by several artists. It features a figure, sometimes in great detail, surrounded by a mass of bright patterns. One artist was called a 'cubist', but it's not how I understand cubism.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
