Yes thats what instantly came to me Moon River. Besides that Lewis this would make a super painting. You have a very good imaginative ability.

Many thanks for looking and for giving it a shot...but I think I should say it's not 'moon river'. (That's probably a better answer that what it's meant to be...but that's not a river in my picture.) I'll wait 'til this afternoon to provide the solution. ('Moon River' was the thought at my art group...so maybe I haven't done it very well.)

I need a clue Lewis as can only think of 'dancing in the moonlight' which I know it isn't as they'd be lots of people and no water in that one! It's a lovely image, so well drawn but give us a clue!!

Without looking at any other comments at the moment I would say it Mike Oldfield moonlight shadow, just a guess but love this piece of music, your painting is good as well lol😀

I think it's about time I came clean. You've all made perfectly valid suggestions, probably better than the answer. So my drawing was a failure, I tried not to make it too easy but I was hoping someone would get it. It's 'Clair de Lune', or 'light of the moon'...or 'moonlight', if my schoolboy french suffices. Groans all round! Thanks to everybody for your comments, and for having a go.

Another of my art group things...the idea was we all draw a picture to depict a piece of music (song-classical-anything). Nobody got mine (I, of course, though it obvious). A few perfectly reasonable suggestions were made. These are a bit rushed, we have 1 and half hours at the most. I drew stylized hair, didn't like it, but there wasn't time to change it. Should anyone like to guess the music, I'll tell you the answer later in the day. Pen, watercolour, and gouache for the stars.
