'Tower Bridge'

This is fabulous painting.

What a task Lesley! You are making a great job of it, this is stunning, the water swirling so realistic!

Wow! water is superb...so much movement. Hope you achieve your goal!

Super work Lesley and not a hosting sight!

Good painting, Lesley.

That looks so complicated Lesley but you've conveyed all those buildings without too much detail and that water is superb. Good luck with your goal.

Fantastic work, Lesley. The water is spectacularly good. The best of luck with your challenge!

Thanks everyone for such supportive comments! I'm learning a lot painting these bridges, and finding it interesting on so many levels. Stephen, it's great to be able to edit, (slightly), I can't believe how many cranes there are in London at the moment.

This is so good - the light and dark areas just make it so atmospheric.

Love the shadow work in this and the Thames looks beautiful. Super work.

I love the darks in that wonderful, moving water. Such a great atmosphere

It has just occurred to me Leslie that you were the first artist to comment on my very first painting on POL and that was a Thames bridge, .......the Millennium Bridge back in 2009. Hope you post more of your bridges. Great work.

Great job here...superb light...

Thanks Fred, I remember your painting and have done that one too now. Thanks Diana and Guy, I was lucky with the light :)

Fantastic work Lesley, love it

Hang on Studio Wall

This year I decided to set myself the goal of painting all 33 tidal Thames bridges. I've no idea if I'll achieve it, but I'm having fun trying. So far I've painted 12 different bridges, but done 20 as I've repeated some of the more iconic ones.
