Old Shack by Leisure Painter

Hi Steve- I think this painting is wonderful! It really caught my eye and I love the use of light on the shack roof. You would never know you hadn't been painting for 10 years!

So far Steve you are the the only one to get near to the colours of the outback , the only nit I can pick is with the perspective, the line at the base of the chimney seems to be at the wrong angle, the colour of the earth is great , sure there are places in Australia where the earth is a darker red but for what i've seen you have nailed it, well done.

Glad you enjoyed my project Steve. It shows. Great combined use of palette knife and brush that creates a lovely atmosphere. Colours are harmonious and work well together. Good job.
